Peegue's Puzzle Page

Welcome to the 19th edition of Peegue's Puzze Page. Peegue is in a little bit of a silly mood and has concocted a number of strange braintwisters for you.

All of these puzzles have perfectly logical solutions, but it might take you a bit of "out of the box" thinking to find them. Peegue hopes you'll enjoy these!

Puzzle #1

Let's start with something practical. If one Zark is worth two Zerks, two Zyrks get you three Zorks, and three Zerks can be exchanged for five Zyrks, how many Zarks can Peegue get for ten Zorks?

Puzzle #2

Ok, how about something a little bit more profound. Let's help Peegue find the answer to that age-old question, "What is the meaning of life?" To make it easy, we'll make this one a multiple choice question. Only one answer is correct, but which one?

A) All of the below?
B) None of the below?
C) All of the above?
D) One of the above?
E) None of the above?
F) None of the above?

Puzzle #3

Peegue is certain of a number of things: All Eeks are Oofs. Yips and Yaps are exact opposites. No Fliffs are Gorts. Finally, all Yaps are Fliffs and all Oofs are Gorts.

But Peegue cannot remember if either Eeks are Yips or Yaps are Eeks...
only one is true, but which one?

Puzzle #4

Phew, well, after these braintwisters, Peegue has an easy one for you. Can you re-arrange the letters in the phrase "nor do we" into one word?

Cryptic enough for you? This puzzle might take some time to work out, so don't give up too easily. Make time on a Sunday morning, grab a cup of tea or coffee, put your thinking cap on, and let the puzzles percolate in your mind.

If you think you have the answer (or you -gulp!- give up), you can send Peegue an e-mail at peegue@midnightsynergy.com. You will receive an automated reply with the link to the solutions. (Make sure that you add Peegue to your address-book if you use a spamfilter, so that the reply doesn't land in your junk folder).

Peegue is also always interested in hearing about new puzzles from all around the world. If you've come across an interesting puzzle that you think Peegue would like to know about, just e-mail us.

Have a safe and happy holiday!
